3:2 on DVD… rippping…etc…
Here’s one for the power user. I have a glass mastered/Amazon and Blockbuster released DVD here of a feature film that my company own’s and did all the post production for….. We provided them a 23.98 1080 D5 to master from….. some jackass the distributor had master their DVD’s made a 29.97 NTSC version with 3:2 for their MPEG files. Seriously?
Anyhow, I’m demuxing their m2v and ac3 files for something (no time to compress the HD master with DVDSP right now), and would REALLY like a way to remove the 3:2 without having to convert that m2v file into a quicktime and then recompress a m2v files. Don’t want a generation loss.
Any ideas? I’ve been using MPEGStream clip to demux….
