  Hey Dave Bone again. Im trying to add text to my shot where a car rolls into a parking lot. I want this undercover agent type effect where it types onto the screen. Can this be done in FInal Cut? I know I can do it in After Effects but id rather get as much of that stuff done in FInal Cut and use AE for more of the Color treatment and effects more than anything else. thanks

  Check out the typewriter text tool found in the generator button menu, or in the Effects tab in the Generators… it will do exactly what you want.
