  problems upgrading to FCP6

  Hi,
  I have just upgraded to fcp6 on my powerbook and i’m having problems opening up my 5.1.4 projects. once i click to upgrade the project, a message appears: “One or more sequences don’t have the correct application of the “shift fields” filter. would you like that to be corrected now?”
  Regardless whether I choose yes or no, the project doesn’t upgrade all the way and FCP just hangs.

  i’m quite desperate now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  I would export an xml of the entire FCP project and reconnect the media rather than upgrade the project to FCP6.
