Just upgraded to a new 8-core dual 3 gig MAC Pro. Wondering what the reccomended SCSI card is for use in this machine with FCP. Have been using ATTO Ultra 3D card in old PPC dual 2-gig but configuration of PCI slots as changed. Looking for a suggestion? Will the ATTO Express PCI Ultra 5D work?

Thank you so much. B&H is on my list for first thing in the morning.

Forgive me, but what’s the purpose for still using SCSI drives?

They are still the most reliable for producing broadcast programs in an uncompressed format. Fiber Channel will be the next investment when these reach their limits.
