  Power Converter for iMac G5

  Hello, this way more of a computer question than a final cut question but I wasn’t sure which forum to ask on. I’m moving to Germany and bringing my iMac G5 (bought in 2003- no auto-power switching device) so that I can do Final Cut Pro editing.

  I’d like to purchase a good quality power converter and there are many from VC-100W to VC-3000W. Not sure how big and powerful I need to go with the Wattage.

  I plan on only plugging my computer and one 350G External Harddrive into the converter when I get there.

  Does anyone have any experience with what type of power converter to purchase? Does more expensive mean more reliable?
