  Recovering problematic quicktime movies??

  I have been sent project files for a commercial, most of which are fine but 2 of the quicktime movies refuse to open.

  Normally i would get the company to resend them…but they have closed shop for the summer holidays and i cannot access the material…..

  so my question is – does anyone have any miracle cures for extracting image data from files that refuse to open?

  The files are 10 bit uncompressed

  There is an application cal “File Juicer”. Is useful to extract .JPEGs .docs and things like that from corrupted files or for extract whatever ther is inside a file . I don’t know if its can helps with a 10b .mov. Anyway is only 20U$ or so.

  that looks a very useful app – unfortunately it didn’t work on this occasion!

  I have managed to contact someone at the studio and they are going to go in tomorrow and sort out the dodgy files.
