    Hi.

I have some footage in Pal anamorphic and some 4:3.
Is there somebody know the correct distort settings in the motiontab in FCP?
I have to get 4:3 letterbox.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards, Johan

In the browser you can flag the footage as anamorphic by scrolling to the right in the browser and click the anamorphic box. Then when you add it to a 4:3 timeline, the footage should automagically letterbox, or, if you have the footage in a timeline already you can open the motion tab, twirl down the distort property and change the aspect ratio to -33.33. You can then copy paste the distort attributes to other clips in your timeline.

    Hi Jeremy.

That’s the answer I’am looking for.
    Thanks a lot.
