A friend of mine is looking for an intervalometer for a HDV camera. He needs to shoot one frame at a time over the course of a few days. Does anyone have any ideas where to get one?

    Thanks,

HDV, by definition, does not create 1 frame of video. It creates a group of frames. Even if you could find an intervalometer for your camera, it would shoot something like 15 frames or more for each interval.

You may want to use a digital still camera for this. Or you could use a Sony PDW-F350 or Panasonic HVX-200. Both cameras have built-in intervalometers that will record single frames.
