    Hi,
    Has anybody tried “hd” material shot with an Panasonic AG-HSC1U, which has an AVCHD- codec with final cut pro 6? Does it work, is there a codec for it in fcp?

    v6.01 supports it natively.

    FYI, The files are VERY Large.

    Okay,
    So the file size will be pretty much the same with Panasonic’s P2 material, one Gb per minute… Extralarge, but fortunately size doesn’t matter. Thank you!

    I’m trying to import my AVCHD clips into FCP6.0. The clips have been transfered from the Panasonic VW-PT2 40gb HD to my hard drive. When I try to bring them in w/ Log & Transfer I get an error msg. “Invalid directory structure”.

    What do I need to do to bring these clips across…

    There’s probably a lastclip.txt file or something like that which needs to be accessible by the application.
