OWC or Transinternational RAM?
Posted by Jeremy Garchow on July 20, 2007 at 8:23 pmAnyone use these? Their deals for 16GB seems to be great.
Is it to good to be true?
I usually go crucial.com, but their prices are surprisingly high.
Finally pulling the trigger on a MacPro.

July 20, 2007 at 8:37 pmI just bought some RAM from OWC. I ordered the wrong type but they allowed me to return it for the correct type which works great. Seems to be a good company.

July 20, 2007 at 8:52 pmI purchased 4x1GB sticks from OWC, but had to return them due to ECC errors. Purchased same from transintl and have had no problems. Their best deals seem to be on the weekends. This is not a knock or recommendation for either company…just my experience.

July 20, 2007 at 9:12 pmOWC is very good. I’ve purchasing (HD enclosures, RAM, etc.) from them for a long time.
We have to pay the sales tax but shipping is very reasonable.
