Okay so I was doing a show open recently and it had several parts to the video. I broke the project up into several comps (after effects 7.0) and as I finished I rendered them out 1 at a time and assembled them in premiere 2.0. My plan was to export them from premiere as a final open. The problem came then. I tried several settings in premiere, including:

File Type: Uncompressed Microsoft AVI with a Uncompressed 4:2:2 8bit compressor

File Type: Microsoft AVI with compressor set to none

After rendering both out, I was left with soften edges and a noticable quality difference.

Why is this happening. I know it is a tech issue. Can somebody explain it to me

    Thanks

Check your project settings in Premiere. Sounds like your fields are interpolated due to incorrect footage interpretation/ project settings.
