    Dear All
    Immagine this scenario please….
You are watching the same shot in 3 different programs and stages of a project on the same monitors

    A. HDV Timeline
    B. Same HDV Timeline exported and processed by Compressor now ready in DVD SP
    C. and finally the DVD itself on my PMG5 QUAD DVD PLAYER.

The first two look exactly the same the latter is brighter.

I have being battling with this issue for too long….
So am I wrong in believing that I have a burner that it`s not doing the job it should?
    Am I wrong….
    Ciao
    Antonio

    I think HDV stinks.

BUT the work I do with it ends up encodeing just as it should if I put it in a ProRes Sequence.
