    Hi there COW; I’ve got a bit of a mind-bender here.

    Let’s see, to start from the top: I’ve been attempting to use the Media Manager for quick & easy offline to online organization of a 5 minute sequence, with footage from about 30 tapes or so.

    Use Media Manager on the sequence, Create Offline— delete unused media, do NOT include Master Clips OR Affiliate Clips outside selection… good, and go, and— when the new project and sequence is created, and I either:

    Did you by chance make subclips while editing this project? If you did then media manager and batch capture will not work, it will try to digitize the entire media.

    Nope, no subclips used; just sequence clips edited in the timeline. I did sample whether using subclips would be a better way to work, and they do successfully ONLY capture the subclip’s registered In/Out marks…

    But when just trying to batch capture the sequence clips (not subclips), the problem persists.

    I ran into the same problem the only cure was to overcut my sequence with sub clips. I had problems with make clip independent seemed to slip my i/o points. when I have used the delete unused media option the media mangler has butchered many of my clips so be wary
