You can’t use Edit to Tape, but should be able to use Print to video… and control the machine manually.

Source timeline has to be HDV matching the record settings on the camera as well.

thanks Jerry, I tried Print to video but keep getting error msg “RT Extreme is not supported”

Is the entire sequence rendered? If not do that.

If that fails, try exporting a self contained QT movie of the sequence, then import that to print to video.

thanks, I will try that. However, if i convdet to QT will it still be HD?
