  Using 3 monitors, Cinema desktop preview doesn’t playback

  I’m on a MacPro running FCP 5.1.4.

  With 2 monitors running, I can use one of my Viewsonic LCD monitors as a cinema desktop preview monitor and it looks great.

  However, I installed another Nvidia video card to run a third LCD monitor so I can have two monitors for my workspace and a third as a client monitor. However, I’ve tried the desktop preview in FCP on all three monitors and it always displays just a white screen.

  My footage is DVCPROHD 720P, however the white screen happens even when trying to view DV footage too.

  Any ideas?

  Did you ever get a response to this?
  I have the same problem. Kind of irks me since I ordered a computer with 4 NVIDA cards just so I could run multiple monitors with no trouble.
