3-Way CC weirdness
Since installing the latest updates to FCS, my 3way colour corrector has been behaving strangely.
The changes i make take ages to update on the broadcast monitor, yet they happen as quick as ever on the Cinema23″.
Also, yesterday i was getting some very odd behaviour happening when played the clips to review the grade. The broadcast monitor played perfectly, yet the Canvas was looping at a phenomenal rate – it looked like 1 frame per shot!
I also tried sending the timeline to Color, but everytime i did Color crashed and would not let me load the project.
My system is FCS2 with the upgrades, 10.4.9, G5 Quad, 4gb, Xserve Raid, Kona 3, and the footage is in 10bit Uncompressed SD Pal.
Anyone else seen anything like this?

How are you monitoring this to your external monitor? Have you updated all drivers for the card?

Hi Walter,
the updates are all the latest ones. I have also updated to 10.4.10 this morning, and so far, its not doing the crazy frame to a shot stuff….but the updating on the monitor is still slower than it was prior to the upgrades.
I’m connected from the Kona 3 to the JVC TM-H1950C crt via SDI.

Then I’m really not sure what to tell you other to ensure that your Sequence Settings match your Clip Settings. Everything performs normally on our two Kona 3 and the Kona 2 systems running FCP 6 with the latest drivers.
