• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  FCP just won’t open

  I haven’t used FCP (v5.0.4) for a long time on my Powerbook G4 (OS 10.4.10 QT 7.1.6). Now when I try to open the app, I get the FCP splash screen for a few seconds then nothing.

  If I keep trying to open the app, every once in a while I get the Register Information screen but then no further.

  Have I downloaded one Automatic Update too many, perhaps?

  Could it have something to do with my email/.mac ID having changed since I bought the app?

  Any thoughts would be great.

  Doh!

  Haven’t trashed prefs since OS9. Thought that was athing of the past.
