  FCP studio Suite 2 and duo quad core

  We have noticed when rendering various sections of video with filters and effects only 300% of the processsors seem to be working. That is 3 out of 8 cores. I was wondering when do you see the real power of this heavy duty computer with this updated software. Am I missing some settings ? This was sith DV. I also use DVC pro and Pro50. I would think you be down to very little rending like some other systems where there are onboad cards that crunch the pixels.
