  good consumer video cards for AE

  I’ve got the list of approved cards for the accelerated display, but I’m having trouble finding one that I can buy.

  They say the 6600, 6800, and 7800 are all good for AE, but I can only get my hands on the 7600 since apparently the rest are discontinued to my supplier. What do I do?

  The ati x1000 is available but it’s qualified with qualifications. Any suggestions?

  Thanks for the info. I called Adobe and basically got the word that though they wouldn’t guarantee it, the 7600 would work with AE.

  I was actually really impressed with how they took my question seriously and went out of their way to get me an answer.
