  Convert DVD (Video_TS files) to quicktime

  Greetings,

  I need a little help!
  Does anyone know how to convert DVD (VIDEO_TS files) to quicktime in in final cut pro? I’m editing a project and all the footage send to me is on DVD (VIDEO_TS files)

  First ask for the origonal tapes, the DVD files are compressed and you should always try and avoid aviting previously compressed video.

  Love getting a straight and worthwhile answer. Googled the question (convert VIDEO_TS file to quicktime) and got your forum.

  Square 5 seems a really useful program and also the site had great instructions posted on how to re-install MPEG-2 if you had already upgraded to Snow Leopard.
