Convert DVD (Video_TS files) to quicktime

I need a little help!
Does anyone know how to convert DVD (VIDEO_TS files) to quicktime in in final cut pro? I’m editing a project and all the footage send to me is on DVD (VIDEO_TS files)Thanks for your help

June 24, 2007 at 5:29 amFirst ask for the origonal tapes, the DVD files are compressed and you should always try and avoid aviting previously compressed video.
If they cant provide them use MPEG Streamclip

Love getting a straight and worthwhile answer. Googled the question (convert VIDEO_TS file to quicktime) and got your forum.Square 5 seems a really useful program and also the site had great instructions posted on how to re-install MPEG-2 if you had already upgraded to Snow Leopard.
