  Capture Beta SP problem

  Hi all,

  I’m trying to capture Beta SP from a UVW 1800 into FCP 6 with AJA Kona LH card and Kona breakout box. I’m using the Kona 8 bit uncompressed easy set-up and all things point to this working. Unfortunately after capture, my audio is off by almost 30 frames. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong? Thanks!

  Sorry for multiple post as I kept getting a “Mechanism not working” error.

  How fast are you scratch drives?

  You need at least 30 MB/sec for UC 8 bit SD.

  Open one of your captures in quicktime, is the sync off there or just out of FCP?

  What kind of computer do you have?
