  remove custom footage name?

  Heya,

  you can rename a layer, then if you rename it again, delete all the text, and hit enter, it will revert to its original name.

  in the project panel in AE7, you can rename footage now too (neat), but if you delete the name, it reverts to the last custom name you used. Is there any way to make it restore to its original footage name?

  Hmm, doesn’t fix the name for me. I’m running AE7 on windows. I can probably fix it with a script, but I’m wondering if there’s another way.
