  Fetal Heart Monitor Strip

  Morning all,

  I need to animate two heart monitor strips by Thursday. Usually I use Flash to create the effect of a moving strip, but because these are so large, I’d thought I would use FCP to save time (plus i’m more proficient with FCP).
  Does anyone have a good workflow for doing this? The strips need to be 8 min each and there are 24 of them. Currently the strips average around 1800 x 1200. I wanted to preserve as much quality as possible.
  I plan on exporting the strips as a .mov and then import into Flash with the end result being a .swf file (client request).
  Any recomendations on what setting I should use to export for the best quality and fastest time would be greatly appreciated.

  I’m using FCP 5.0.4, Photoshop CS and Flash 7 for this project.
