• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Panasonic AG-HSC1U

  Has anyone worked with or heard about this tiny Panasonic HD camera. It uses these 4GB cards and a 40GB storage device. Can you “capture the footage” into FCP. I’m assuming whatever codec panasonic uses can’t be read easily by FCP.

  If it’s a codec readable by FCP, you would use the Log and Import function just like the P2 cards.

  How can i find out if the codec is readable by FCP?

  No, it doesn’t. FCP doesn’t support AVCHD at this time.

  In order to get footage from this camera into FCP, you will need Blackmagic’s Intensity card.
