  Converting HDV to DCPROHD

  I feel incredibly stupid asking these questions but:

  I have a Kona 3 card. Should I just do an easy setup and select KONA 3 DVCPROHD 29.97… put the HDV video on the timeline and tell it to render in order to convert HDV to DVCPRO HD?

  Or should I just put the HDV video on a DVCPRO HD 1080 60 timeline and than use Quicktime Conversion to convert the HDV to DVCPRO HD?

  I would probably just select all of the clips in the browser and use the media manager to recompress the clips to DVCPRO. This will maintain all of the original timecode and clip metadata.
