  Storage question for Macbook Pro

  Hi guys,

  I know this probably isn’t the right forum but I couldn’t find a more appropriate one.

  I’m basically looking for high capacity RAID 5 storage to store/edit/capture onto. I edit mostly on SD but sometimes HDV (I own an HVR-Z1E). I’ve got a first edition MacBook Pro and so only have one firewire port which will be taken up when capturing by the camera.

  I’m probably going to have to use the express card slot but haven’t really though about what card/wires yet and that would come after having worked out what unit to go for. I’m wanting to spend under
