  Rotoscoping

  Can you rotoscope within FCP, i mean i guess i could export the clip out to AE and do it there, but i was curious if there’s a way to do it in FCP, it just a simple 25 frame transition that i want to create using the shape of a person walking out of frame. any ideas?

  Nope. You’re best off just using AE since you already own and know it. I have the Silhouette FX plugins for FCP, which are great for roto, but it’s kinda 6’s at that point.
