vibrate or shake effect
Posted by Tim Silva on February 16, 2007 at 3:49 pmI’m looking for a nice automated way to apply a vibrate or shake effect to text or an image.
What do you suggest?Thanks,
Tim

February 16, 2007 at 11:11 pmHey!
Alt-click on the stopwatch for POSITION for the layer you want to shake. type the following in the text box that pops up next to it:
wiggle(10,20)
The first number is the times to wiggle each second, and the second is how many pixels maximum (I think it’s maximum?) to wiggle. So the above says to wiggle 10 times each second, in a range of 20 pixels. You can change the numbers to whatever you want.
Turn on motion blur for the layer and for the comp, and that should about do it.
