  how was effect from last week’s The Lot created when the couple threw the hangers and everythnig froze around them and the characters were able to walk around the freezed frame

  The hangers were done on a green screen.

  The actors threw hangers out of the shot and the director overlaid his green screen effect at the same time.

  Go back in time using the equipment in the movie DejaVu and walk through the shot frame by frame. If you happened to record it live, go through that frame by frame.

  so, do i just use the green screen effect in FCP. I dont actually need the GREEN screen in the back do I
