    I have a sony dvcam deck that I’ve always used for capturing. It’s connected via firewire to my G5. For some reason FCP 5 now won’t recognize the deck. On launch, it says it can’t locate the Apple Firewire device, and in my setups it says “missing”. I’ve checked all connections, have a brand new firewire cable, and have recently used the deck for capture. Any ideas?

    I forgot to mention that I’ve got deck control with the capture tool, but there’s no video in the preview window (it says unavailable) and it won’t capture anything…
