  HVD workflow, FCP and DVDSP

  Hi everyone,

  Can somebody recommend the ideal workflow to achieve the following: I’ll be shooting with my Sony HDR-FX1 on HDV, editing in FCP 5.1.4 and deliver the final piece on an standard definition DVD (not an HD DVD) using DVDSP 4.

  I’m not clear about lots of things: Cineframe24 or 30, capturing options on FCP, how to export from FCP so that I can use it on DVDSP, etc.

  I’m sure that many of you out there have already gone through this and will appreciate your suggestions about the ideal workflow.

  Hi, I am trying to do something similar, noticed you didn’t have any responses, have you learned anything else where as far as a workflow for importing HDV from HDR-FX1 into FCP?
