Not really sure why, there should be hundreds of people who receive it on the same day, should be the first week of June. Everyone who pre-ordered it should receive it by the end of June I would think, depending on how many of the 800,000 registered users ordered it.
Not sure what difference it makes who gets it first.

May 12, 2007 at 7:41 pmApple and Fed Ex have a VERY GOOD relationship.
It will arrive when Apple ships. If it’s next week great. If not, it will be soon.As always, I have too many projects going on now to jump ahead and install FC Studio 2 right away. It looks like July will be a good month to do the install.

May 12, 2007 at 8:45 pmI know I won’t be first but I will be asking all of you seasoned FCP and Mac users to walk me thru how to install the upgrade from the studio I have running on a MBP. I hear so many horror stories I am sure I will be a bit leary. The one thing I cannot figure out after moving to a Mac is how to remove programs ? So be ready you gurus when I get my upgrade I am sure to have a ton of questions. I know you will be helpfull as you always are. maybe a good Walter of shane couls post step bt step instructions fo us novice Mac users !!!
thanks in advance

Often the installation discs for the program have an uninstall option, often found by unclicking “easy install” and selecting “pick programs to install”, and that will usually do a good job of removing all the related files.
If not, the program manufacturers website will usually have instructions on removing a program.

May 13, 2007 at 5:54 amSounds like you are a PC user. Read the Manual! or you can PAY a guru to walk you through the install or have them install for you.
Install is very simple, double click the install, enter your serial number and when prompted, insert the requested disc.

Double Click the Install Package when you put in the disk. That’s about all there is to it.

Yeah, definitely looks like a place to avoid as I don’t see any “Apple Authorized reseller” on there. Especially when building FCP systems or even purchasing the software, you want to go with a reputable reseller and in particular, you want an Apple Authorized reseller.
