  Will media not in the timeline affect performance?

  Will importing still images and audio files that are not brought into the timeline affect performance or file size of an exported file?

  effect on exprorted file?
  -no
  effect on performance?
  -not unless your computer is slow, it does effect how long final cut takes to start up though i believe.
