Working in Avid Adrenaline and AE 7. Source is DV clip. Production flow: Out of the Avid we export QT refs and bring into AE7. We then render out of AE7 as a QT with the Avid Meridien Compressed codec. After AE7 title added, we tried importing into the Avid using RGB, and again using 601, but the black levels in both cases on the AE clip are crushed verses the original avid clip. Black on original clip is about 7 IRE, and on the AE clip, black is now 0. Whites are also boosted. What is the correct way to handle this?
    Thanks,
    Mark

You can also try using the 0-255 setting in the codec when you render out of AE.
