Is there a way to see in FCP browser which clips that have been used in the timeline or which clips that have not been used so far?

    use the find command, cmd-F
then you can choose to find “all used” or “all unused” amongst other options

after that you could use a label color to flag those found clips , or just separate them to different bins… but otherwise no, no way to see which are used or unused

if the clips still have a valid Master / Affiliate relationship,
then colouring the timeline clips will ads the same colour to the browser clips.

Careful of nested sequences. It won’t see those clips in the cmd+f (find) method. So don’t go deleting unused without being sure.
