The product does not start shipping until May 31. If you order today, you will get an estimated ship date. Keep in mind that Apple announced at NAB that there are over 800,000 registered FCP users in the world and the products ship “first come, first served.” So when your order will ship depends on how many products they have in stock by May 31 and how many people have already ordered ahead of you. I ordered three copies the day I returned from NAB.

I ordered a copy the minute the Apple Store came back on-line after the NAB presentation. It “estimated” I could have it as early as June 1st. I highly doubt that. I’ve been dealing with Apple since my old Mac Plus was cutting edge. My advice, place your order, and have no expectations.

Shipping is scheduled to begin May 31 so June 2 – 4 is probably more likely depending on where you live.
