    Definitely not. There isn’t actually a machine called a G5 Intel – but both the G5 Quad and Mac Pro use PCI-Express slots, which are physically different than the PCI slot your Cinewave needs.

    I’ll second that. CineWave cards are PCI-X and will not install into any machine from a G5 Quad through today’s Mac Pros.

    in that you can use a PCI-E to PCI-X ‘adapter’ (if there is one) to connect to the Cinewave. Might be worth the expense, might not.
