  audio and video locked

  For some reason, the audio and video tracks on my project are not locked together. I captured them together and they exist that way in my bin, but when I drag it to the timeline, the audio tracks are in stereo, but if I cut the video track, the audio tracks are not affected. I’m sure i missed something in the capture mode. Can I fix them now?

  Select the video and audio together and hit Apple L. It’s in the manual.

  Read up on “linked selection” in the FCP users manual.
