  Non-admin users can’t start fcp 5

  I run an eMac OSX 10.3.9 with FCP 5 HD.

  I have used the machine a while with multiple local users.
  Recently FCP have not been able to start up in non-admin usersaccounts. After the splashscreen the program just shuts down.

  Any ideas why?

  Don’t you have to administer permissions for FCP in those users?

  You may have installed FCP directly into your account’s appliciitons folder and not to the main apps folder. I’ve done this. It’s hard to do but it’s hard to undo, too.
