  FCP Studio/HVX200(P2) question

  I am just starting to cut HVX/P2 footage, and for some reason I am unable to apply a dissolve between 2 clips. I can apply a fade in/out at the beginning or end of the sequence, but if the clips are joined, nothing will work at the edit point. The Item Properties of the clips all match, and the sequence settings are the same as the clips. It all works in SD mode. Any thoughts?

  you have not trimmed the clips I and O so there is some handles to actually overlap do a dissolve.
