audio compressor/limiter tutorials?
I’m trying to learn how to use FCP’s compressor/limiter filter and having a little trouble understanding it well enough to use it efficiently. The user’s manual isn’t a big help either. Anybody know of any tutorials I can find?

There are several hours worth of training about audio in FCP done by Larry Jordan on Lynda.com. Here’s a list of their FCP titles:
https://movielibrary.lynda.com/html/modListing.asp?pid=37If that link doesn’t work you can just search by product. FCP is in the pop up list. You can buy a subscription for $25/month, no minimum required. You’ll have access to all of their training libraries.

both limiter and compressor tools from soundtrack pro are much better
lukily larry jordans clips on both tools are free at
https://movielibrary.lynda.com/html/modPage.asp?ID=246i would really advise paying for lynda for a month for this filters tutorial and the other one on soundtrack pro only its only $25 and is the only good tutorial i could find on the filtering, there are no books that are this good.
