    Hi All,

Due to lack of internet access I am still running 5.01 and not 5.04.
    Also, I am running 10.4.8 on a Dual 1.25GHZ 2 Gig RAM G4 powermac.

All was running good until I tried to install soundtrack pro and loops.
I had deleted my old loops by mistake a year ago soundtrack, (not pro version
    )
I am not new to problems. trashed prefs, repaired permissions.

    Restarted, even uninstalled soundtrack.

Do I hopefully just need to plug in a software update?

    I found this thread

    https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/8/865504

Thanks and of course I have a project due.

    Thanks,

It just quits, before I can do anything.

    Hi Scott

I can’t really help you with the specifics of the problem (all I can suggest is what other people have suggested already and that you look at Larry Jordan’s excellent Troubleshooting guide at https://www.larryjordan.biz/articles/lj_trouble.html).

However, what I can do is post you out a downloaded patch for FCP on a CD if that would help. Just tell me exactly the version patch you need and your address and I’ll do it tomorrow ASAP. I hate to see other people in trouble – it really sucks and if I can use my broadband connection to help someone in an emergency I’ll gladly do it. I assume you’re in the UK? If you can reimburse me, I’d also be fine with sending it out on a courier if it’s really time sensitive.

Email me on jgallaghereditor at yahoo dot co dot uk and we can sort it out.

    John

Thanks for the offer. I am in the US.

I ironed it out. Nothin like a reinstall to cure all your problems.
