  Final Cut & Cannon XH-A1

  I recently purchased the Cannon XH-A1 and am capturing via firewire to Final cut. I have successfully captured DV and 16:9 DV. Every time I try to capture HDV I get an error or the tape rolls for the duration of the clip but nothing captures and I have to abort. I am trying to capture 60i.

  Seems like there are two places I may be using the wrong settings, Easy set up and the capture settings in the capture window.

  Also, the Preview window is always disabled while I am trying to capture HDV.
