  3D layer image size????

  1. Thanks to everyone who posted solutions to questions I’ve asked over the last few months.

  2. I have a number of Colapsed transform layer comps with 3D layers in a final comp. The 3D layers are all 824 X 824

  3. I scale them down to fit in my final comp at 720 X 480.

  4. It looks good and rampreviews fine.

  5. When I render it the 3D layers seem to revert to their orginal aspect ration.

  How can I beat this?

  Post a still image on an imagehost and I think people will be able to give you more help. Are you using a Camera to pan around these 3d layers? If you are, maybe the virtual cam is using a very wide angle lens and distorting how the layers appear on the screen. And if you are viewing them without a camera in the precomp, this is why they appear different in the main comp.
