  Conform 25 to 24 BY MISTAKE – Can someone help

  Hi,
  I clicked on ‘Conform 25 to 24’ in tools by mistake. I feel like a tool myself because it has changed one of the camera frame rates to 24@25 and I can’t change it back to 25 fps. Can anyone help please?

  Gonna have to recapture that clip. Cinema Tools Conform is destructive, meaning that it modifies the original clip instead of creating a new one with the new conformed frame rate.

  Hi Shane,
  Is there no other way? I didn’t use Ciname Tools to convert it, it was in the ‘Tools’ section of Final Cut, or is that the same thing?

  No other way that I know of…and I’ve tried. I believe that the CONFORM in the FCP TOOLS section does the same thing. Once you Conform, you can’t go back.

  In my experience. But wait until tomorrow…maybe someone else will chime in and say “Hey, I did this…”

  Open the media in Cinema Tools and click conform and change it back to 25.0. You can go back and forth conforming 23.98 to 25 all you want.
