  Should I wait?

  Hi,
  I am considering to buy Mac system.
  But, I am wonderig if apple will announce the new system(software) upcoming NAB.
  I heard that Apple will introduce the new system (8 cpu), Leopard, and FCP 6.
  If it is true, should I wait until NAB?
  Any information would be helpful.

  its up to you, if you have the need now, then do it, if you want to wait then wait.

  If you can afford to wait one more month, I’d wait.

  If I could have waited until after NAB,, I would have.. But alas,, in my haste (and need for a new portable editing system) I purchased a 17″MBpro 2.16 intel core duo,, only to see apple release a few months later, for the exact same price, the 2.33MBPro intel core 2 duo with ram capacity increased from 2 to 3 gig,, and if I understand correctly, 64bit ready where mine is not. wasnt very happy ’bout that one 🙁

  however, I am waiting ’till after NAB.. and perhaps a generation after that, before upgrading my desktop.

  Wait. And even when Apple had all these stuff in the shops, WAIT.
