Will footage captured with a BlackMagic card in DVC Pro50 Codec work on a DVC Pro50 sequence with footage captured from a Kona Lhe in the DVC Pro 50 Codec….without the need to render? I am unfamiliar with the BlackMagic cards. Is there a difference between DVCPro 50 Codecs from each of these cards I guess is what I am asking.?

Shouldn’t be a problem. We transfer DVCpro50 between Decklink and Aja I/O boxes all the time.

DV50 is a final cut native codec, nothing to do with BM or AJA. Totally interchangeable.

I think it shouldn’t be any problem. AJA and BM just digitallice using the very DVCPRO50 codec. As long as I know they havent developed their own DV50 codec.
    Cheers,
