We’re finally making the jump to HD here at our offices, and in creating a HD workstation, I’d like to see what others are using in their workflow, and what’s been best in your experiences. We’re purchasing a Panasonic AG-HVX200 P2 camera, so we aren’t going to have HD tape decks. What, in your experiences is a good video output card for monitoring to a HD monitor? Also, what are you using for hard drives? I know that the data rate of HD is far too much for 1394 drives to handle when working in the higher resolutions, so are you using internal S-ATA arrays, and what kind of drives do you reccomend? Thanks ahead of time for your input. I’m very excited to be moving to and learning the ins and outs of a new format, it’s just the initial steps of figuring out what’s needed that I’d like some insight to.
