  29.97 frame rate export problems in QT Pro

  Hi All!

  I have a 30 FPS quicktime file that I need to notch down to 29.97fps. Every time I try and export from QT Pro, the file is still 30FPS, no matter how many times I set the export frame rate settings at 29.97.

  I *think* I might be able to do this in FCP, but this particular QT file has multiple media files contained within, so it will be a pain to reassemble in FCP. FYI, when I try and render a simple 30fps Quicktime (without the extra media) I still can’t get a 29.97 file.

  I’ve tried several different bits of footage in doing this, DVCAM, H.264 and DVCPRO50 codecs… as well as 2 different machines… Still not working.

  does anyone know if this is a bug, or is there a workaround? Is this something Cinema Tools will solve?
