  Sony FX1/FinalCutPro5 HD issues

  I can capture HDV from the FX1 to FCP5 but after rendering it in the timeline, it looks like SD and not HDV. If I export without rendering to 1080 or 720, the results are over-letterboxed. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

  Did you use the HDV 1080i 60 easy set up in FCP and when you captured was your camera set to down-convert to DV.
